By accessing or using this Website, requesting an estimate, scheduling services, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this Website or our services.
1. Services
Mom & Sons Hauling provides hauling and related services, which may include, but are not limited to:
Junk and unwanted-item removal
Residential and commercial cleanouts
Furniture removal
Appliance removal
Yard debris and storm debris removal
Construction and renovation debris removal
Property cleanouts
Light demolition and related hauling services
Other services described or agreed upon between the Company and customer
The specific services provided will depend on the scope of work agreed upon with the customer.
We reserve the right to decline any job or material that we determine is unsafe, prohibited, inaccessible, outside our service capabilities, or otherwise unsuitable for transportation or disposal.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Quotes and estimates may be provided based on information supplied by the customer, photographs, videos, measurements, descriptions, or an on-site assessment.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, an estimate is not a guaranteed final price.
The final price may change if:
The quantity or volume of materials differs from what was originally described;
Additional items are added;
Items are located in areas that require additional labor;
Access conditions are different from those represented by the customer;
Additional labor, equipment, transportation, disposal, or special handling is required; or
The scope of work changes after the estimate is provided.
Where reasonably possible, the Company will communicate any material price change before performing additional work.
3. Scheduling and Appointments
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information and ensuring that the property and materials are accessible at the scheduled appointment time.
Customers should ensure that:
Items to be removed are clearly identified;
The Company has reasonable access to the items;
Gates, doors, and other access points are unlocked or otherwise accessible;
Vehicles and other obstructions are moved when necessary; and
Pets and other animals are safely secured.
If our crew is unable to access the property or items because of conditions outside the Company’s control, additional fees may apply or the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
4. Customer Responsibility for Property and Items
The customer represents that they have the legal right and authority to request removal of the items presented to the Company.
Customers are responsible for removing or identifying any items that they do not want removed before our crew begins work.
Once an item has been loaded onto our vehicle or otherwise removed from the property, it may be considered abandoned and may not be recoverable.
Customers should remove personal documents, money, jewelry, electronics containing personal information, photographs, medication, firearms, valuables, and other irreplaceable or sensitive items before our crew begins work.
The Company is not responsible for items accidentally removed when the customer failed to clearly identify or separate property that was not intended for removal.
5. Prohibited and Hazardous Materials
For safety and legal reasons, Mom & Sons Hauling may refuse to transport or dispose of certain materials.
Unless specifically agreed to in writing and legally permitted, prohibited materials may include:
Hazardous chemicals
Flammable liquids or materials
Explosives
Ammunition
Illegal substances
Biohazardous materials
Medical waste
Asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing materials
Certain paints, solvents, and chemicals
Propane or other pressurized gas containers
Radioactive materials
Certain pesticides or toxic substances
Sewage or human waste
Other materials prohibited by applicable law or disposal facilities
Customers must disclose any potentially hazardous materials before service begins.
If prohibited or hazardous materials are discovered, the Company may refuse removal and may charge for reasonable labor, travel, handling, or other costs already incurred.
6. Appliances and Special Items
Certain appliances, equipment, electronics, tires, mattresses, refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioning equipment, and other specialty items may require special handling or disposal.
Additional fees may apply depending on the item, location, condition, disposal requirements, or applicable environmental regulations.
Customers are responsible for disconnecting utilities and preparing items for removal unless the Company has expressly agreed to perform such work.
7. Property Access and Conditions
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the areas where services are to be performed.
The Company may decline or stop work if conditions are considered unsafe, including but not limited to:
Dangerous structural conditions
Excessive pests or animals
Standing water
Unsafe electrical conditions
Hazardous substances
Severe weather
Unstable piles or structures
Unsafe stairs, roofs, floors, or access points
Other conditions that could reasonably endanger customers, employees, contractors, or equipment
The Company will not be responsible for delays or inability to complete services caused by unsafe or inaccessible conditions.
8. Damage to Property
Mom & Sons Hauling will exercise reasonable care while performing services.
However, the customer acknowledges that removing heavy, bulky, damaged, tightly packed, or unusually positioned items can involve incidental risks to walls, floors, doors, landscaping, driveways, fences, or other property.
Customers should identify fragile surfaces, structures, landscaping, or other areas requiring special care before work begins.
The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed defects, ordinary wear associated with removal, or damage resulting from conditions that were not reasonably apparent before work began.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers should provide reasonable notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
The Company reserves the right to charge a cancellation, trip, or scheduling fee when applicable, particularly when a crew has already been dispatched or significant preparation has occurred.
Any cancellation fees will be communicated to the customer when applicable.
10. Payment
Payment is due according to the terms provided at the time services are scheduled or completed.
We may accept payment methods made available by the Company, which may include credit cards, debit cards, cash, checks, electronic payments, or other approved payment methods.
The customer agrees to provide accurate billing information and authorizes the Company to charge the applicable amount for services provided.
Returned payments, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may result in additional reasonable fees to the extent permitted by law.
11. Disposal and Recycling
Items collected by Mom & Sons Hauling may be donated, recycled, repurposed, transferred, or disposed of at facilities selected by the Company based on applicable laws, regulations, facility requirements, availability, and the nature of the materials.
The Company does not guarantee that a particular item will be donated or recycled.
12. Abandoned Property
Items designated for removal become the responsibility of the Company once they have been accepted for removal and loaded for transportation, subject to applicable law.
Customers should not place valuables, important documents, personal information, or items they intend to keep among materials designated for removal.
